The firm is led by three directors, namely Engineers John M. Litondo, Arthur W. Ogwayo and Buge H. Wasioya.
Eng. John Litondo
Chairman and Chief Mechanical Engineer
Engineer John M. Litondo is a graduate of Oklahoma State University, U.S.A. Eng. Litondo's experience includes apprenticeship at J.T. Ryerson & Sons Inc., U.S.A., and subsequent work at Kenya Cooperative Creameries Ltd., Lake Hardwares Ltd., Wheat Board of Kenya and building services consultancy with East African Engineering Consultants as the Chief Mechanical Engineer. Engineer Litondo has been the Chairman and Chief Mechanical Engineer at M&E Consulting Engineers for the last 37 years.
Eng. Arthur W. Ogwayo
Chief Electrical Engineer
Engineer Arthur W. Ogwayo is a graduate of Sheffield University and Essex University, England. His experience includes being head of electrical department at Magadi Soda Co. Ltd. He has also worked in telecommunications engineering at the East African Posts and Telecommunications Corporation. For five years Eng. Ogwayo undertook building services consultancy with East African Engineering Consultants as the Lead Electrical Engineer before co-founding M&E Consulting Engineers where he has been the Chief Electrical Engineer for 32 years. Eng Ogwayo is currently the Chair of the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department at Kenyatta University School of Engineering.
Eng. Buge H. Wasioya
Chief Electrical Engineer
Engineer Buge H. Wasioya joined M&E in January 2018, and is a graduate of the University of Nairobi. He has over 35 years experience in the energy sector and retired from the Energy Regulatory Commission (now Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority) in December 2017, where he last served as Power Systems Manager. Prior to working at the Commission, Engineer Wasioya had worked for the Kenya Power and Lighting Company in various capacities as Design Engineer, Area Operations and Maintenance Engineer and Chief Engineer Design. Engineer Wasioya is the Chief Electrical Engineer at M&E Consulting Engineers.
